Why I Tri

Supporting a Meaningful Cause

On August 26, 2018, Team Keystone Foundation will take on the 36th Annual Chicago Triathlon to raise funds for Glenkirk. The Keystone Foundation provides direct funds for innovative programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Keystone Foundation board member and long-time Team Keystone member, Terry O'Hara, shares why this Triathlon is so important to him.

I am a 'disability advocate' and very passionate about helping people with disabilities. The Chicago Tri seemed like a fun way to raise funds', O'Hara shared. He has made many memories through this triathlon, from his first rookie mistake by getting locked out before his swim to all of the hard work planning and training for the big day. So, why does he "Tri"? "It's an incredible feeling to be part of something bigger than ourselves. I feel so connected to the other triathletes

he said.
