Illinois Bone & Joint Institute Selects Glenkirk as Its Partner Charity for 2020
Northbrook, IL – The charitable foundation of Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, IBJI CARES (Compassionate Allied Rehab Enabling Society) Foundation, has selected Northbrook-based Glenkirk as its 2020 partner charity.
Through a competitive application process, IBJI CARES Foundation annually chooses a local nonprofit organization with which to partner. “Glenkirk illustrated the great need for primary and specialty medical care, as well as behavioral health services, for those with developmental disabilities,” said Tara Banick, Chairperson of the IBJI CARES Foundation.
“We were very impressed by Glenkirk’s clinical services program, which strongly aligns with the mission and priorities of the IBJI CARES Foundation. In addition to being actively involved with hands-on volunteerism, we hope to raise between $70,000 and $100,000 during 2020 to support their health and wellness initiatives.”
“We are beyond grateful to be partnering with IBJI CARES Foundation,” said Greg Petersen, CEO of Glenkirk. “We provide individuals with developmental disabilities with more than 4,500 medical appointments and more than 11,000 hours of behavioral health services annually, so this generous support from the IBJI CARES Foundation will make a significant and immediate impact.”
