Glenkirk's First Smart Home Opens

We are thrilled to announce that Glenkirk brought its first Smart Home online in May 2018!

Working in partnership with Google's Smart Home team Glenkirk has installed readily-available tools to help individuals connect with their community, make healthy choices and have fun with their friends and housemates.

These tools include personal devices, smart TVs, refrigerators, and lighting, as well as connected doorbells and thermostats to maximize each person's control over their bedroom and home environments.

Our first home was made possible by the generosity of Vernon Township, which recently announced funding to support a 2nd Smart Home which will be brought online in Fall/Winter 2018!

We're not done yet - in June Glenkirk also received funding from the Service Club of Chicago to support a 3rd Smart Home which will be brought online in early 2019.
