Yesterday afternoon, Glenkirk employees joined forces with various volunteer groups at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Libertyville. This initiative underscores Glenkirk's commitment to community service.
Upon arrival, the Glenkirk team was greeted warmly and received a brief orientation. They quickly organized into small groups, handling different tasks in the meal-packing assembly line alongside volunteers of all ages. In just a few hours, the collective efforts of all volunteers resulted in the packing of 57 boxes. This effort resulted in a total of 2,736 meals prepared for shipment to communities in Uganda experiencing food scarcity.
The volunteer session was a rewarding and humbling experience for all participants. This team-building activity proved to be a wonderful experience for the entire Glenkirk team, strengthening their bonds and enhancing their sense of community.
