Thank You, Highland Park Community Foundation!
At Glenkirk, we are dedicated to ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to the essential services they need to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. Thanks to the Highland Park Community Foundation (HPCF), we can continue to meet these needs right here in our community.
This year, HPCF has awarded Glenkirk $9,000 to support two critical programs:
- $4,000 for the Behavioral Health Clinic – Mental health care is often difficult to access for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This funding helps us provide specialized counseling, behavioral supports, and medication management, ensuring that those who need these services most can receive them close to home.
- $5,000 for Next Generation Day Services – Community engagement and meaningful daily activities are vital for adults with disabilities. With this support, we can continue expanding our day program, offering more opportunities for skill development, social connection, and greater independence.
HPCF’s investment in these programs strengthens our shared community by ensuring that individuals of all abilities can access the resources they need to thrive. Their commitment to inclusivity and well-being makes Highland Park a better place for everyone.
We are deeply grateful for this partnership and for HPCF’s ongoing dedication to improving lives. Thank you, Highland Park Community Foundation, for helping us build a stronger, more supportive community for all!
