Glenkirk’s Health and Wellness program offers individuals increased opportunities to enjoy active and healthier lifestyle choices. The goal of this program is to improve the overall health and wellness of the individuals served.
Monthly activities are planned specifically around the interests, preferences and needs of individuals and provide a variety of activities which include both home-based and community integrated activities. Some examples of health and wellness activities include Zumba, chair yoga, neighborhood walks, basketball, Healthy Eats hands-on cooking classes, trips to Chicago Botanic Garden, coffee & tea outings and healthy meal planning training.
