Glenkirk's Annual Benefit Bash, formerly Glenkirk's Annual Benefit Brunch, is our trademark fundraising event, which has raised more than $3.1 million since 1997! This year's Benefit Bash will be virtual and is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 7th, 2020.
Benefit Bash 2020 Virtual Kick-off Event
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our event committee has made the decision to host our annual Benefit Bash Kickoff online this year to keep everyone safe and healthy. Please mark your calendar for our First Virtual Kick-off event in support of those Glenkirk so proudly serves. Our event will take place on September 12, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
Our event will feature an online wine tasting hosted by none other than The Wine Goddess, Diana Hamann, herself! We look forward to seeing you online and raising a toast to the Glenkirk individuals we proudly serve and our dedicated staff who have gone above and beyond their commitments to help our family members and friends be safe, healthy and continue to have productive lives.
Glenkirk spent more than $250,000 on COVID expenses in the last 90 days alone; given the fragile nature of those we serve, we must remain vigilant, these expenditures must continue! Since March, Glenkirk shut down its adult day programs, quarantined its 140 residents, and significantly adjusted its operations at its 23 residences to ensure everyone’s safety.
We are asking our major supporters to help us in meeting our financial needs as a result of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.
